Hope Soccer Stadium

Our recent trip to Michigan was the first time I've been back since the new Hope soccer stadium was built, so I was excited to see it. After Becky and I had breakfast with my parents at our classic Holland breakfast location, the Wooden Shoe (now known as "The Shoe"), we headed over to the stadium for a quick tour.

The stadium is absolutely incredible. I'm hoping that with a recruiting tool like this, we might win a national championship some day.

As a gift to me for the completion of my PhD, my parents had a plaque added to one of the seats in the stadium that reads, "In honor of Bryant Loomis All Region '02". It was such a cool gift, and it was awesome to get to see my seat for the first time.

Public safety was kind enough to let us in to see the locker rooms. Up on the wall is a plaque recognizing our top 25 ranking from my senior season.

It was fun to relive the glory years for a few minutes. I have so many great memories of my time as a member of the Hope soccer team.
